We are limiting call-ups 4 deep for each school simply due to time restrictions. If the points leader is not present at the race, the call up will go to the school that they belong to. With all of this work, I will not be able to travel to any mountain bike races this Fall, and so Emily and I are looking for someone to take my spot onsite at the races. While I will still be responsible for logistics of conference, such as schedule, number ordering, results, etc. the Assistant CD will be essentially taking my place at the races and be in charge of handing out numbers, etc. Most importantly, this will be a paid position. I will be sending out a formal announcement detailing the job description, but please send this out to your, team or anyone who you think would be interested; theydo not have to be students, and have them contact me and Emily. This position would be great for anyone who plans on racing the entire mountain bike season, as they will be paid to attend!

Thanks,

Jessica
Jessica Bobeckhttps://plus.google.com/114515958465735399571[email protected]3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937385690775034208.post-7170475283474370722016-05-03T14:18:00.001-06:002016-05-03T14:18:48.730-06:00Conference Awards! - 5.3.16Hi Everyone

I apologize for not being able to do this on Sunday, but results are finally calculated the top three in each category are below. Those that upgraded mid-season are only eligible in the category that they finished in. Mens A and Womens A both receive a DNA conference leaders jersey as well as a call-up in the road race and crit , and the other categories receive a conference leader shirt. Please inform your team of the standings, and have the winners contact me with a mailing address so I can get them their jerseys/shirts and also a jersey/shirt size. We are waiting to decide on Sunday's crit, but Mines is trying to move all races to next weekend, since it is a free weekend.

I will make sure to keep you all updated about Sunday as well as next weekend.

Thanks for understanding!

Jessica

Jessica Bobeckhttps://plus.google.com/109884787308950014112[email protected]0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937385690775034208.post-39882046467647205402016-03-14T10:45:00.004-06:002016-03-14T10:50:55.937-06:00Bib Numbers, Pre Registration, and Reminders for Road 2016 - 3.14.16Hi Everyone,

Bib Numbers:
I just wanted to post the bib numbers for the season. The sheet is constantly being updated every week. There are still many riders who need to renew their license. This needs to be done so that you can pre register.

Preregistration:
This brings me to my next point. The RMCCC has moved to online registration for ALL events. Links to preregistration can be found on the Race Calendar page. Failure to preregister will result in a $5 day-off fee.

Reminders:
-Bib numbers are to be kept for the ENTIRE season, unless a rider has upgraded. Lost or forgotten bib numbers are $5 cash for a replacement.

-Upgrades will only be processed during the week, not on race weekends. If a rider believes they have enough points to upgrade after a Saturday race, they still must race the same category Sunday. The following weekend they may race in their new category, provided that the upgrade is approved.

-If a rider needs to pick up a new bib number, please do it within the first hour of registration of that day. I cannot guarantee that I will be available afterward.

Thanks!
Jessica

Jessica Bobeckhttps://plus.google.com/114515958465735399571[email protected]0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937385690775034208.post-69399563016757083522015-08-31T22:04:00.002-06:002015-08-31T22:04:32.725-06:00Upcoming Mtn Bike Season, Track Racing, and UpdatesHi all,

With mountain bike season starting next I wanted to send out some reminders and well as updates.

Track Racing and Nationals Eligibility

Track Racing in CO Springs

On September 5 and September 12 there will be RMCCC Collegiate track races at the 7-11 Velodrome. To streamline the process at race, if coaches or presidents could please submit a roster of those riders who are planning on racing (again, even just one race), their license number, category, and disciplines (Endurance, Gravity). If a rider is a different category for each discipline, please note that on the roster. If coaches/presidents could please email me this by Thursday 9/3 12pm this will make registration much faster, this way I can pre-assign numbers and once the coaches/president/whoever hands me a stack of waivers, I will return the favor with a stack of number plates.

Those who do not submit a roster of riders, will NOT have pre-assigned numbers and thus please be prepared for longer wait times. Also, if rosters are submitted after Thursday at 12pm, I cannot guarantee pre-assigned numbers.

Mines Race Update 9.5.15

Mines is the first race of the season, and as of last week we are now partnering with the NCCCC (North Central Collegiate Cycling Conference) to make the Mines race a duel conference race. This will provide an opportunity for more races in the NCCCC calendar, more racers from outside the conference, and chance to check out the competition before nationals. The way this will work is all NCCCC riders will be given different number plates and be scored separately but race in there designated categories. This will not effect RMCCC conference standings and rankings.

Conference Meeting

The first and only conference meeting is currently being planned. Expect details within the week. It will either be held at CSU (9.12-9.13) or Western (9.19-9.20). In the meeting we will plain for road season, and vote on a few conference changes.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me,

-Jessica

Jessica Bobeckhttps://plus.google.com/109884787308950014112[email protected]1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937385690775034208.post-87303318687195406232015-08-07T10:20:00.001-06:002015-08-07T10:20:37.634-06:00New Conference Director!Greetings RMCCC!

My name is Jessica Bobeck, I am a grad student at CU-Boulder.
